I had mostly the same issue, except that I could run the application but I could not see any account that I have.
Then I tried what @Heken said to start it in a new folder and after that move the .exe file back to the old folder and now it is working!
The only thing that does not work for me is the select all button in the inventory. It's almost completely out of the application. IMG

The select all button isn't completely out of the application. You just have to drag the window a bit bigger, then you will see this one too.

interesting! It seems the English language pack (which also includes sizes/positions of controls) has a bug that leads to the text not being displayed (completely) for the checkbox.
Thanks for the heads-up, we'll fix this for the next version.
