Should the bot be avoided for a while?

Beitrag von corepurpose »

There’s always updates coming, some more significant than others however, this recent mail we just received with everyone getting a personal code seems different.

It was cause for some serious rumors of a potential server merge they’ve promised us years ago. I’m not too tech-savvy but while a few new dungeons might not cause detection, nor even the new backend apparently, but imo there’s no way a change this big could not lead to detection when a mechanism is spamming our credentials and sending wrong input constantly.

What would you guys recommend is the best course of action here?

It is too soon to say as longer as there are no details about it. We will need to wait and see what this code is about before taking further actions.

If you fear detection you should never use a Bot - although we do our best Playa can detect bots if they want and invest enough of time...
