Thanks a lot, I've at last managed to get it run on Ubuntu 18 distro, seems like bot doesn't work on latest versions of Ubuntu and Debian. It was a bit confusing at first since I have no experience with linux but quickly got the hang of it. I don't know why but the gui on these distros doesn't work ...
