The strategy will change next weekend with the update. Hopefully we will be able to have custom build order implemented soon in mfbot.

It is not working properly

I set it to build a maximum for a certain building, and it built beyond the max.

I can confirm this has happened to 2 buildings overnight ... they were both set to a specific level and were both built beyond that level to the nearest 100.

(ie level 1236 is set and it builds to level 1300)

Can you give a brief overview on how it works after you reach all builds set?

This behaviour is actually intended, but Unknown can give you a more detailed explanation as why we decided not to go level by level

Once the custom order (or any other strategy) is finished, the bot will switch to "build cheapest" automatically. This is also stated in the tooltip *whisper*

Ok thank you, that makes more sense. As clarification the building level was increased beyond intention before the "custom" build fully completed for other buildings. Are building levels in increments of 10? 25? 50?

I have tested 100 and 25 level increments today and it is working well. My AM only updates once per hour (typically with City Guard) but that is ok with my strategy. I will test 10 level increments over the coming days.

It will only surpass your set goal if you have much more money.
Imagine Following scenario: 1:50,2:50,10:1,1:1000
If you have 10 Mio Money bot will start with 100x seats as it only costs few thousand money, as Popcorn 100x is still less than the 9.9 Mio Money bot will follow with seats 100x. Next he will save money until he can afford Toilet 1x, as thats more than he has. And as he doesn´t overshoot needed money directly to 10x Toilet, he´ll only build 1x toilet.
